Nowadays, he captures thieves and shares their modus operandi live on Facebook.
In one of Chidawa’s videos, a Harare man is seen conspiring with his partner to steal from members of the public using the chadonha technique.
They are seen approaching an unassuming girl with wads of cash and telling her that they had picked some money that they would want to share with her.

The two were operating along Cameron Street close to Jumbo.
Seeing an opportunity to chow free money, the girl follows them to where they were to share the money.
In all this, Tafadzwa Chidawa is filming everything live on his phone on Facebook.
One thief then enters into a shop supposedly to count the money while his accomplice and the targeted victim await at the entrance.
The cons are then heard asking the girl to leave her bags with one of them so that they can go and share the bounty.
Fortunately, the target doubts the deal and decides to walk away with her belongings.
The two thieves tried conning three other women unsuccessfully till they got another target.
They finally convince a pregnant woman, who accepts the prospect of free money.
One of the cons goes into a shop to count the money. On returning, the two give the lady the money so she can go into a different shop to share it.
They then take the lady to the crowded Market Square area and ask her to leave her belongings so she does not flee.
When she enters the shop, the two thieves start running, and Chidawa chased them up.

He then orders them to sit down. Chidawa and his partner handcuff the two thieves.
Moments later, the victim walks out of the shop and reveals that they were about to steal her bag with US$70.
Chidawa takes the robbers to the ZRP Market Square post.
