UNISA Confirms Magaya's PhD and Diploma are Fake
The University of South Africa (UNISA) has confirmed that the Diploma and PhD presented Walter Magaya are fake.
Magaya made headlines over his academic qualifications after he submitted a diploma that he claimed to have earned from UNISA to the High Court to challenge his disqualification by ZIFA.
Zimbabwean journalist Maynard Manyowa, of UK-based Dug Up revealed that they reached out to UNISA press office to verify the authenticity of his Diploma and honorary Doctorate.
“We supplied images published by public owned but state operated Herald, links to stories by ZBC, Newsday and others. We also shared the said diploma, student number, and personal details about Prophet Magaya to UNISA.”
UNISA officially confirmed that Prophet Walter Magaya’s academic qualifications are not legitimate.
