A bizarre incident in Bindura has led to legal repercussions after a woman named Sheila Kambasha, a local resident, allegedly assaulted her son’s former wife, Nono Kiposa, in a dispute over groceries meant for the upkeep of their grandchild.

Kambasha, who is set to appear in court in Bindura today, reportedly confronted Nono, the daughter of Sport FM radio presenter AK, regarding the child’s welfare.
On a day in February, Nono, accompanied by her current husband, received a call from Kambasha requesting an emergency meeting regarding their grandchild.
The meeting took place at Nono’s parents’ house in Chiwaridzo Phase 2, Bindura.
During the confrontation, Kambasha expressed dissatisfaction with Nono’s alleged neglect of their grandchild’s needs.
Nono, in response, explained that she had not provided the requested groceries due to her health condition.

Unfortunately, the situation escalated, leading to physical violence.
Kambasha reportedly assaulted Nono in the presence of her mother, son, and other siblings.
Nono, still in recovery from surgery, was unable to defend herself during the altercation.
The incident was subsequently reported to the Chiwaridzo police station, resulting in Kambasha’s arrest.
The woman is set to appear in court against her daughter-in-law over the altercation to try and plead her case.
