Baba Harare Shares Spiritual Journey Ahead of Album Launch
Baba Harare, the talented musician known for his Jiti style, recently opened up about his personal transformation. Not only has he transitioned from Jiti to gospel music, but he has also embarked on a profound spiritual journey.
The buzz began when tabloids and bloggers quoted unnamed former friends who speculated that Baba Harare's shift to gospel music was influenced by his new wife. However, the artist himself refuted these claims. According to him, he and his wife have been married for some time, but they intentionally kept their relationship private. He said:
I have heard people say I recently got married, which is false. I have been married to her for some time, but I did not want her to be in the media.
Social media went into an overdrive when her images were publicised with many versions coming up.

But what truly inspired Baba Harare's musical pivot? It wasn't his wife; it was a divine calling. During a sold-out show in Australia earlier this year, something extraordinary happened.
He said: “Early this year we travelled to Australia with my group where I had a sold-out show. The fans embraced my music, but God spoke to me and convinced me to quit secular music and serve Him. I know I will miss travelling and stuff but I do not regret this move. This is the wisest move I have made in my life.”
