In a tragic turn of events, a 16-year-old boy died after being advised to end his relationship with his 15-year-old girlfriend.

According to WhatsApp messages shared on Facebook, the boy’s older sister explained that the couple was warned by the girl’s grandmother to end their relationship.

The grandmother, known as Mai Nhutsve, had taken in her granddaughter after the girl’s parents died.

Mike’s sister reported that Mai Nhutsve told her brother and his girlfriend to stop seeing each other.

Despite this warning, the couple continued their relationship, and the girl allegedly began acting out at home in defiance. The sister believes that this prompted Mai Nhutsve to resort to witchcraft to get rid of Mike.

The story quickly spread on Facebook, prompting a range of reactions from the public.

Some suggested that the granddaughter would now struggle to find a husband, while others questioned whether a teenage romance was enough reason for Mai Nhutsve to resort to witchcraft.

Several users also warned that the accusations made by Mike’s sister could be defamatory without concrete evidence.
