Abusive Eastlea Dad is a Former Police Officer
Noel Muzenda (39), a former police officer from Eastview, Harare, was caught on camera physically assaulting his son outside their house.
In the disturbing video that has gone viral, the father is seen brutally assaulting his young son sparking outrage on social media.
In the video, Noel Muzenda violently assaults his 10-year-old son with an electric cable, bricks, and a wire.
A woman from the same household appears unconcerned and can be seen going about her business as Muzenda assaults the helpless boy.
According to reports, the assault began after Muzenda sent his son to a local tuck shop to buy tomatoes.
When the boy, a Grade 4 student, failed to return on time, Muzenda went to look for him. He found his son playing with other children along the way, which enraged him.

Muzenda began to assault the boy on the spot and continued to beat him up all the way to their home. He further assaulted the victim with an electric cable, bricks, and a tying wire.
The brutal attack did not sit well with neighbours, who filmed the assault and later uploaded the video to social media. The footage quickly went viral, leading to Muzenda’s arrest.

The violent assault left the boy nursing several wounds. He sustained injuries, including a swollen cheek, bruises on his back, and pain in his right ankle.
The police have since confirmed Noel Muzenda's arrest.
