The source added that family members are taking turns to look after the rapper. “His mother, who was based in the US, is here to make sure that he is fine,” the source said, adding that the rapper is starting to put sentences together, slowly.

He is starting to show improvement, thanks to the rehab programme. He is now learning to walk too. He's aware of what's happening and he is determined to get back on his feet. He is showing major improvement since he started rehab,” added the source.

The other reason why the family decided to take him out of the hospital, was to protect him from the prying eye of the media and some hospital staff who could leak information to the public.

The source added that the family has cut access to some of his friends until he is fully recovered.

Most friends and some family members won't have access to him until he is fully healthy. I guess it makes sense since Les is strong but to see him like this is helpless and heartbreaking,” added the source.

Speaking for the family, Aurea Alexander who is also the rapper's baby mama confirmed that Da Les was out of hospital. “We will give the media an update soon,” Alexandra said.
