On Monday, an unsettling incident unfolded in Bulawayo’s CBD when local vendors and shop attendants noticed a man engaged in inappropriate actions in his parked car along Ninth Avenue.
The initial discovery was made by a shop attendant who observed the man parking his vehicle and lowering the front windows.
Soon after, it became evident that he was pleasuring himself. The attendant quickly alerted colleagues, who gathered around the car to confirm what was happening.
“I was standing by the window and saw him parking his car. After that, he lowered the front windows and started to masturb*te. I quickly alerted my colleagues and we rushed to his car. We caught him still masturb*ting and upon seeing us, he locked the doors and pulled up his trousers.”

Shortly thereafter, police officers arrived at the scene to manage the situation and towed the vehicle to the local police station.
A shop attendant from the area expressed that this was not an isolated incident, suggesting the man had been seen engaging in similar behaviour on multiple occasions over the past few years.
