Walter Magaya Under Probe for Forging Academic Qualifications
Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) presidential candidate, Yadah Gunner owner and PhD Ministries leader Walter Magaya is under police investigation following the arrest of Vice Presidential candidate Gift Banda, for allegedly submitting a forged O-Level certificate as part of his nomination papers.
After Banda’s arrest, police are now investigating Magaya over a similar case involving forged academic credentials.
According to reports by Nehanda Radio, police suspect that both Banda and Magaya obtained their forged documents from the same individual, identified as Anele Zikhali.
Zikhali, who is currently in custody at Pumula Police Station, is accused of issuing a fake O-Level certificate and a Diploma in Marketing in Magaya’s name.
