Holy Ten Pelted with Bottles & Cans in Kariba

Kariba – Embattled ZimHipHop artist Mukudzei “Holy Ten” Chitsama was allegedly pelted with bottles and cans at Lake Harvest Sports Club in Kariba on Christmas day.

In a trending video, bottles and other objects are seen being thrown onto a stage that had since been vacated.

Holy Ten Pelted Again: J'burg Show Shut Down Prematurely

In the vidoe posted on X (formerly Twitter),  Fame Factory Zimbabwe (@FameFactoryZim) said that “Holy Ten forced off stage less than 5 minutes into his act at Lake Harvest Sports Club, Kariba, as an angry mob throws bottles on stage.

The revellers were angry at the poor sound quality from the system.”

This adds to a growing trend where fans have either booed or pelted the artist of the stage mid-performance.

Several reasons have been given as to why Holy Ten is getting the rough treatment with @MunyaWacho saying: “To be honest this wasn't about hate. Haungati wabhadharisa vanhu ma$5 and you appear zvako na2am, put an a very shit show uchingoti hoyoo zvisina order.

“Zimbabwean artists at large need to learn how to respect people's money and time. Hamusi kumanikidzwa kuita mashows. Rehearse, appear on stage on time, and give people an entertainment worth their money! That's why every crossover 10k people stampede HICC for Winky D's show imi muchitadza kuzadza classroom, motanga kunyepa kuti gaffa rakarombera cult no… kunonakidza!”

However, others believe there is an agenda. SeRanga (@soengwazi) said: “There is a faction in music industry that is deliberately plotting these attacks. Unfortunately the group control narratives on social media. This is bad. Zimbabweans must not be used to fight petty wars.”
