Harare City Council Orders Vendors To Vacate Trading Sites To Minimise The Spread Of Coronavirus
The Harare City Council has released a press statement informing all vendors trading at an undesignated site to immediately vacate such places as part of efforts to Minimise human contact in the fight against coronavirus.
The City Council has advised vendors operating in designated areas such a as markets and home industries that it will be consulting the central government on the closure of these markets starting March 28 in order to Minimise the spread of the coronavirus which is currently ravaging the whole world.
Harare City Council has directed the municipal police to move in and enforce these measures with the help of the ZRP.
