Zimbabwe Republic Police says they are aware they are people who are not observing the social distancing rules and are holding parties inside their homes. The police will soon be conducting patrols to arrest perpetrators.
National police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said only a few people were arrested for liquor related offences.
Yesterday 22 were arrested for liquor-related offences across the country it shows people are being disciplined about drinking in undesignated areas. Commuters have also been involved in breaching lock down regulations. 14 people were nabbed for ferrying passengers without exemptions across Zimbabwe.

Other businesses that do not offer essential services remained open resulting in 47 people being arrested for operating without exemptions. 106 people were arrested for loitering and not heeding the call to stay home. 39 people were found gathering in public places and were arrested.
