South Africa Ban Zimbabweans From Entering Back Into The Country

South Africa gave all Zimbabwean returning citizens a five year ban from going back into the country. Most of the returning residents used the beitbridge border post and they were banned from entering back into the country without any explanation.

Beitbridge East legislator said imposing bans on the returnees was not outrageous considering that some of then were just hoarders who were stuck in South Africa because of the lock down. A returnee confirmed that all those who she cane with were imposed a 5 year ban.

However upon arrival the passengers were taken to quarantine facilities close to their homes by Zupco buses.
