The death of musician Garry Mapanzure’s has cast a light on the detoriating health care system in Zimbabwe so much that UK-based Zimbabwean businesswoman Olinda Chapel has offered to buy ambulances for the government.
Gary Mapanzure Hospitalised after Accident
Garry Mapanzure sadly died on Friday morning after being involved in a horrific car accident on Thursday. He reportedly died while waiting for an ambulance to ferry him from Masvingo to Harare.
Meanwhile, Mars Zimbabwe has come under heavy criticism after it emerged that they refused to ferry the now-deceased musician to Harare to get medical treatment.
Speaking out after Garry Mapanzure’s death, Olinda took to her Facebook page and pledged to buy and donate 10 second-hand ambulances to the government.

Olinda Chapel offered to buy and ship the ambulances under the condition, that they do not charge her duty.
Zimbabwe govt I will buy and donate 10 second-hand ambulances from the UK and ship them. As long as you guarantee NO DUTY. I am heartbroken.
