Bulawayo Residents Told to Flush toilets Twice a day as Water Woes Continue
Bulawayo residents told to flush toilets twice a day as water woes continue.
The Bulawayo City Council has urged Bulawayo residents to observe strict flushing rules to assist the drainage system during the ongoing 96 hours’ water-shedding programming.
In an advert that is circulating on social media, BCC said the residents must adhere to a synchronized programme of flushing their toilets in a bid to unclog the sewer system.
Members of the public are encouraged to flush between 0600hrs-0630hrs in the morning and 200hrs-2030hrs in the evening. Bulawayo has been facing water shortage in the past months and efforts are being made to normalise the situation.
