Nyama On Credit For All Civil Servants
Good news for civil servants as they can now get Nyama On Credit and beat this January disease.Â
A local company, SPT Nyama, is running a promotion offering meat to all civil servants on credit.
Prices of meat have risen sharply in the last couple of months while salaries have not kept up the pace. This has meant that the commodity is now out of reach of many workers including civil servants, who make up the majority of workers in Zimbabwe.
The lowest-paid civil servant presently earns $1 023, which their representatives say has since been overtaken by inflation and even the cushions that they are being given are not enough to cater to all household expenses but this new deal by SPT Nyama will certainly be helpful.
The promotion comes a few days after the President said that people should eat Vegetables because it's much more healthy than meat which is now expensive.
