Shocking Riverton 2020 Academy Fees

A receipt from an elite school in Masvingo Riverton Academy is circulating on social media with a shocking amount of the fees that parents are paying.

It is common knowledge that the Zimbabwean economy is in turmoil as commodities are being priced well beyond the reach of many and prices continue to rise every day as traders continue to chase the USD exchange rate.

Schools have been forced to raise fees especially boarding schools which have to source scarce basics such as mealie meal, bread, sugar, and fuel but when it comes to raising fees some schools are just taking it too far looking at the picture below of the school fees receipt taken by a parent from Riverton Academy yesterday.

Last year the School hiked fees for the third term which set tongues wagging with the eye-popping figures.
