Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority has set a minimum amount needed for the purchase of electricity tokens using ecocash.

The announcement was made yesterday by ecocash advising its valued customers that the directive was given by the ZETDC to set a limit for minimum purchase of electricity tokens using ecocash.

This is another blow for Zimbabweans who are still trying to cope with the new electricity prices which have risen by 200%, paying for electricity they don't even use because of the ongoing load-shedding lasting up to 18 hours every day.
