Ecocash Suspends loyal Customer’s Accounts
We have received numerous complaints from innocent citizens who are Ecocash subscribers that their accounts have been suspended without notice.
Ecocash subscribers have been battling to adapt with the newly upgraded and with faulty eco cash. Numerous complaints have been filled.
I woke up this morning with a message from Ecocash saying my id has expired and I am banned from Ecocash. I don't know what I did wrong since I have been using my account for my personal use . I am even worried about my hard-earned money in my eco cash account said an anonymous sourceÂ
Verifying the information our news crew went to the Econet shop and discovered quite a number of subscribers with the same complaint.
Another subscriber commented that I woke up to this message and i came to enquire, to my surprise it was not me only who was in this predicament. I want to use the money in my eco cash account to buy medicine for my sick son and yet eco cash just does this to me.
This development comes after Netone announced that it was running a transaction free of charge.
The Econet staff are even overwhelmed that they are attending to customers queuing outside the offices, registering the complaints and being told to come back after 3 days if the problem has not been solved.
