Survivors of a city bus that had an accident along Chiremba road have blamed the driver accusing him of reckless driving.

An Abdul & Sons Tours coach which is operating as part of the ZUPCO program of subsidized transport killed at least two people after the bus overturned. The accident occurred near the intersect of Robert Mugabe Road and Chiremba

The survivors alleged that the bus driver was speeding and was ignoring traffic lights as well as driving in the opposite direction against oncoming traffic in a one-way lane.

Commenting on the accident, the Zimbabwe Republic Police said,

The ZRP confirms that two people died and 28 others were injured at 0730hrs today when an Abdul &Son bus which was coming from Epworth failed to negotiate a curve and collided with an InterAfrica bus coming from Mabvuku at the Chiremba Rd – R. Mugabe junction traffic lights, Hre
