Pic : Midlands State University Increases Fees
Midlands State University has increased tuition fees for undergraduates, postgraduates and masters students for 2020 February to June.
The continuous rise of fees will lead to some students not going back to the institution next semester due to the current economic situation in the country.
Even though the government has released 6million to each State University so as to lower tuition fee whilst running the institution smoothly, the tuition is still high for some students.
Fees for the undergraduates are ranging from $5000 up to $12000 per semester and medicines students have to pay about $52000 tuition fee per year.
The continuous hikes of University tuition fee have left the parents in shock as their salaries are far much lower than the fees needed to be paid.
Civil servants will need 7months salary to pay up tuition for only one semester and something has to be done as some students will not return to school this coming semester.
