Man Killed After Trying To Fix Friends’s Misunderstanding With Wife
Livisen Sande (41) was allegedly killed by his friend after he tried to fix a quarrel Tawanda Mankili (31) had with his wife.
Mankili from Chipadze, Bindura was arraigned before a Bindura magistrate Ngonidzashe Nduna yesterday for allegedly killing his friend after a misunderstanding with his wife.
The state alleged on February 22 Mankili was escorted to his home by his friend Sande upon arrival the suspect started insulting his wife and shouting obscene language
Sande tried to stop his friend from insulting his wife and he became violent by scalding him with hot water before hitting him with a golf stick.
The victim became unconscious after the attack and was rushed to Bindura provincial hospital where he is currently admitted.
Sande subsequently died a few days later after his admission.
The accused was not asked to plead to the charge and was remanded in custody to March 23
