Just In: Students In Private Schools To Pay Full Examination Fees Whilst Those In Public Schools To Enjoy Subsidized Examination Fees

The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education has released a press statement on the 2020 public examination fees.
The Ministry has officially announced the ZIMSEC examination fees canceling the fees that had been put in place as parents and guardians had been advised to continue paying the old fees approved in 2015.
All parents and guardians of candidates in grade 7, ‘O' and ‘A' levels have been advised that the government will be contributing 53% of the examination fees for candidates in public schools while parents and guardians will take up 47%.
All candidates from private schools and colleges at Grade 7, ‘O' and ‘A' levels will meet the full cost of the examination fees.
The public schools where 53% of the examination fees will be paid by the government are:
a) Government Schools
b) Local Authority Schools
C) Non-profit Mission Schools
