The Youth Empowerment and Transformation Trust (YETT) 2020 winter school is calling for participants for the Annual Youth Leadership Development Course.
The winter school is expected to equip young people with critical knowledge and skills on leadership, strategic thinking, entrepreneurship, gender, and conflict transformation, whilst creating an enabling environment for cross-learning, networking, and providing mentorship opportunities for the participants.
The selection criteria for the needed 40 participants is based on the age ranges of young people aged between 18-35, residing in Zimbabwe who are able to commit 14-17 days in July and August 2020, demonstrating dedication and commitment towards improving their community and seek a wider audience to engage with for national development.
Selected participants will attend a 2-week leadership development program augmented by workshops, team building, mentorship, and networking opportunities with experts from different fields.

Completed applications for the Winter School can be sent by email to yettwinterschool2020@gmail.com. Hard copies can be submitted in person at No. 7 Capri Road Highlands Harare.
The deadline for applicants is 29 May 2020 and successful applicants will be notified by 12th June 2020.
YETT will cater to all costs associated with the Winter School such as venue, meals, and transport (excluding costs incurred on application such as stamps and envelopes for posting). YETT does not ask participants to pay a fee to participate in the Winter School.
Participants from rural-based and economically disadvantaged young leaders, young leaders with disabilities, young women, young people who are HIV positive, and other minority groups are encouraged to apply.
