Man Fakes An Erectal Dysfunction Problem For 17 years to Avoid Being Intimate With His Wife To Spend 26 Years In Prison For Rape
A 68-year-old Zvishavane man who faked an erectile dysfunction problem for 17 years to avoid being intimate with his wife has been sentenced to 26 years imprisonment for rape.
From a local publication, Custon Machanja was arrested following accusations of having sex with a minor.
It is reported that Machanja slept with the mother of the minor as well and he bought the minor's silence with money.
However the minor refused to sleep with him leading to Machanja drawing out a knife and forced himself on the minor and threatened to use goblins on her if she told on him.
The threats didn't seem to work as the minor told her mother leading to Machanja's arrest.
This came as a shock to his sex-starved wife whom he had not been getting intimate with for 17 years.
Machanja pleaded not guilty but there was enough evidence to prove of his guilty and was given 26 years to serve in prison
