In a distressing incident suspected to be an act of bullying, a Form Four pupil at St Columba’s High School in Bulawayo collapsed after being subjected to a horrifying attack in the school’s restroom.
According to a source at the school, an unknown individual believed to be a fellow student, forcibly pushed the victim against the wall, covered her head with a plastic bag, and then proceeded to stab her with a ballpoint pen in her private parts.
The victim attempted to resist, but she was overwhelmed by her attacker, who forcefully pushed her head into the toilet bowl.
After a few moments, the victim lost consciousness. She later regained consciousness and managed to alert a fellow pupil who came to her aid.
Together, they discovered the ballpoint pen still lodged in her private parts. The victim had stab wounds and torn underwear, and a pair of scissors was found on the floor.
