A prosecutor in Plumtree, entangled in a scandal involving leaked intimate photos with the town’s magistrate and multiple other women, now stands at the brink of professional repercussions.
Willbrought Kennedy Muleya, the married prosecutor, finds himself under investigation by the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) following the circulation of explicit images in WhatsApp groups within the border town.

Adding to the controversy, regional magistrate Sithembiso Ndebele, also married, is implicated in the scandal after being captured in a passionate embrace with Muleya in the viral photos.
The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) is currently conducting inquiries into Ndebele’s involvement.
The NPA expressed deep concern over the allegations of improper conduct within the Plumtree prosecutors and vowed to investigate the matter thoroughly, promptly, and impartially.
In an official statement, the NPA emphasized its commitment to upholding integrity and high ethical standards among its prosecutors.
ZimLive reported that the scandal unfolded when Muleya, returning home intoxicated, had his phone unlocked by his wife.
To her dismay, she discovered a collection of photos featuring Muleya in compromising positions with various women, some of whom were reportedly married.
Additionally, explicit images from women, allegedly sent at Muleya’s request, further fueled the scandal.
Due to the explicit nature of the content, many of these images cannot be disclosed in family-friendly publications.

Seething with anger, Muleya’s wife shared the incriminating pictures in a WhatsApp group, turning the scandal into the talk of the town in Plumtree.
Notable figures involved include a police officer, a migration agency worker, and the implicated magistrate.
Notably, this incident follows the dismissal earlier this year of Justice Thomson Mabhikwa, whose naked photos were leaked by a girlfriend amid allegations of womanizing.
