Nkulumane Hubby Killer Surrenders to Police
A 23-year-old woman from Nkulumane suburb in Bulawayo, Trish Ndlovu, who had been evading authorities following the alleged murder of her husband, surrenders herself to the police.

Confirming the arrest, Bulawayo police spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Nomalanga Msebele, disclosed that Ndlovu is facing charges related to the death of her husband, 23-year-old Hillary Mugiyo.
“Police confirm the arrest of Trish Ndlovu, a 23-year-old female from Nkulumane, Bulawayo, in connection with the murder case of Hillary Mugiyo, a 23-year-old male from the same address. The accused and the deceased were married“.
The tragic incident unfolded on December 6, 2023, when a neighbour was disturbed by the sounds of a heated altercation between the couple.

Assistant Inspector Nomalanga Msebele provided details:
“On 6th December 2023, around 2 am, a 70-year-old female resident of the same address woke up an informant, reporting a quarrel between the accused person and the now deceased. The informant rushed to their residence and discovered a pool of blood in the passage and spare bedroom.”
The informant questioned Ndlovu about the incident, and she admitted to stabbing Mugiyo once in the neck during a dispute over undisclosed matters.

“She stated that she had stabbed the now deceased with a kitchen knife once in the neck. The informant went outside the house and found Mugiyo lying on the ground facing upwards with blood oozing from the neck and he was still showing signs of life.”
While attempting to seek help for Mugiyo, Ndlovu fled from the scene, leaving the informant to call for an ambulance. Unfortunately, the medical crew, upon arrival, pronounced Mugiyo dead.
