Musami Boy Found Dead in a Cooler Box
An investigation is underway by Mashonaland East province police into the death of a 12-year-old Murehwa child who was discovered inside a vending cooler box.
Money-changer Found Dead in Maize Field
According to reports, the youngster vanished on February 3, 2024, while his father was at Musami Business Centre playing with his pals.
Nevertheless, there are claims that after returning from a business trip to Bindura, Golden Gorembeu’s mother-in-law, Ms. Ester Mutetwa (62), a seller at Musami Business Centre, told him that his now-deceased father, Arnold Gorembeu, was missing.
It is said that the father of the dead went to the nearby village of Chivhinge to attend a memorial service, under the impression that the deceased was still playing with his pals at the business centre.
According to other claims, the youngster had not slept at home when the deceased’s father got home about eight in the morning after the memorial service.

He reportedly asked the villagers to look for the now-deceased guy, but they were unable to find him.
As a result, at around six o’clock that same day, he filed a missing person report at Musami Post.
Inspector Simon Chazovachiyi, a police spokesperson for the province of Mashonaland East, verified the event and mentioned that there are concerns the youngster might have suffocated inside the cooler box.
History Teacher's Body Found Defaced
Mr. Golden Gorembeu kept looking for the now-deceased until approximately 8:00 p.m., at which point Arnold’s body was found in one of the vending cooler boxes by the now-deceased’s younger brother, Genius Gorembeu, age seven.
Officers responded to the location and filed a complaint at Musami Post.
