Manchester United win Ignites Carnival in Methodist Church
The frenzy over Manchester United's English FA Cup win over Manchester City on Saturday reached fever pitch on Sunday in Zimbabwe when the winning team's fans turned the United Methodist Church, Cranborne service into a celebration.
According to those who attended the service, this happened during the time for Harvest Celebrations. At UMC, Harvest is a thanksgiving event celebrating the ‘first fruit'. Sources add that the sections of the UMC assembly decided to do Premier League theme.
During the event Arsenal, City and Chelsea also had similar processions but they were just less entertaining (probably because Arsenal & Chelsea fans hadn't much to celebrate, while City only has “five” supporters).

In the video posted below, the section wearing Manchester United jerseys (for some it' was just red) are seen in a celebratory procession led by a very charismatic “mubvuwi” as they head towards the pulpit.
Thanks to @ManUtd, the church service today was different at UMC Cranborne.

Craig Takunda @_craigtakunda) would have none of it: “On behalf of all Christians who truly know how God must be respected and feared, this church is very FAKE and ANTICHRIST. And to God, this church doesn't exist. Mwari havade mahumbwe epanyika ese aya. This proves how most of current churches are after Fleshly and Wordly stuff”
DaddyDrew (@thegodfathadrew) commented: “The only people that think this is wrong aren't Man Utd fansit's the pain that makes them think that somehow you can't celebrate like this in your “Father's House”
