Linda Masarira Accuses Daughter of Seducing Bongani
Opposition politician Linda Masarira has accused her daughter of seducing her husband, Bongani Mhlotshwa.
This came to light after @DrDeliquent shared screenshot messages on X, formerly Twitter, that she had with Linda Masarira. In one of the conversations, Linda Masarira revealed that she has reconciled with her husband, Bongani.
Linda Masarira made headlines last month after her husband, Bongani, beat her up after she caught him in a compromising position with her 22-year-old daughter, Kupa.
Linda Masarira was hospitalized and suffered severe injuries, particularly in her left eye. Bongani was found guilty when he appeared before the Epworth Magistrates’ Court.
The court sentenced him to 15 months in prison, with 5 months suspended for 5 years. An additional 10 months were suspended on the condition that he complete 350 hours of community service.
Rather than condemning her husband’s actions, Masarira has placed the blame squarely on her daughter, accusing her of seducing and luring her husband. She said:
I am an adult 41 who is capable of making decisions for herself and her future. My daughter seduced my husband.

Masarira claims her husband “failed to control himself” after being seduced by her daughter.
Furthermore, she revealed that Bongani has apologized and even paid compensation for his actions. In contrast, Masarira asserts that her daughter has shown no remorse for her actions.
He was tempted and failed to control himself. He apologised akaripa pachivanhu to me and my parents. My daughter is the one who is unremorseful. Hasn’t apologised since and is bragging to the whole world that she fixed me. I ain’t desperate at all.
Linda Masarira has chosen to stand by her husband, Bongani, even after he was caught having an affair with her own daughter.
Masarira has defended her decision to stay married, arguing that her husband’s good qualities outweigh his 20% fault.
I put Bongani’s weaknesses on a scale and realised that he has 80% good or excellent and 20% fault. Why should I throw away the baby and the water? It is better to deal with the faults and maintain the good.
