Ramaphosa Inauguration: Zimbo Caught with Dead Person's ID
In a jaw-dropping twist ahead of Cyril Ramaphosa’s inauguration, Zimbabwean police nabbed a man who tried to secure event accreditation using a deceased person’s ID. The audacious individual confessed to buying the ID from a Home Affairs official and has been masquerading with it since 2000.

But wait, there’s more! The State Security Agency’s eagle-eyed system caught him during the vetting process. Now he’s facing charges of fraud and contravention of the Immigration Act.
And here’s the kicker: He claimed to work for one of the service providers at the inauguration ceremony. I guess he thought he could slip past the authorities like a stealthy chameleon.
The police are digging deeper to find out how he got his hands on that ghostly ID. Was it a shady deal? A midnight swap? Or did he stumble upon it during a séance?
Either way, this caper is serious business. It could land him in the slammer or even prompt a one-way ticket back to Zimbabwe.
As for the original ID owner, they’re probably rolling in their grave, wondering why their identity became a hot commodity. Maybe they should’ve trademarked it.
