Defence Minister Muchinguri's Daughter Held on Fraud Charges

Police are holding Tanya Rushesha, the daughter of defence minister Oppah Muchinguri on fraud charges relating to bulk fuel sale according to ZimLive sources.

Tanya Rushesha and her sibling Natasha Rushesha were born to Oppah Muchinguri when she was married to Tapiwa Rushesha. The pair divorced in the 1990s after having the two children together.

Mufandaedza (@chinyemu) commented: The funny part is that CID/ZRP, CIO, ZIMRA know these things and the “people chain involved”. When it comes out like this most likely “zanupf factions” at play.

Bryan Sibanda (@unclebraai) added: She’s buddy buddy with Scott and Bucks of Better Brands. Even though nothing will happen to her it’s good to see her finally exposed.

Meanwhile, several vehicles caught fire at the police Vehicle Theft Squad’s exhibit yard in Southerton in Harare. The cause of the fire is not yet known.

Many have questioned where the Belarusian fire trucks were when property is getting destroyed by fires with very little being done by the authorities to deal with the fire.

In other news, Grace Mugabe’s son, Russel Goreraza, has recently faced legal issues due to his failure to pay maintenance fees totalling $7500. The 40-year-old appeared in Concession magistrates court after neglecting a court order to pay $2500 in maintenance issued on January 31. Goreraza’s non-compliance spanned three months, prompting legal action.

In April, Gorezara was taken to court, and he asked for more time to get legal counsel. His son’s mother had dragged him to court, claiming that he was not taking care of their child as ordered by the court.

Goreraza received a wholly suspended sentence for failing to fulfil his financial obligations. This sentence is contingent upon his payment of the outstanding $7500 by July 12. The prosecutor, Munyaradzi Nengomasha, underscored the seriousness of the case during the court proceedings.
