Zimdollar's Sister Found Alive After Five Days Missing

In a dramatic twist, the family of Ukhozi FM presenter Zimiphi “Zimdollar” Biyela is breathing a sigh of relief after her sister, Nokuthokoza Biyela, was found alive. Nokuthokoza had been missing for over five days, leaving her family in a state of distress and prompting them to file a missing person report.

A family member, who wished to remain anonymous, revealed that the police located Nokuthokoza on Thursday. She is currently receiving medical treatment in hospital.

She is in hospital getting treated. I can't go into detail about what happened or where she was found. We are waiting for a full report from the family so we can visit her,” the source said. Despite the uncertainty surrounding her condition, the family is just grateful she is alive. “We are just glad she is alive. That is all that matters right now; we will deal with the rest later.”

The ordeal began when the family noticed Nokuthokoza's phone was off and she hadn't reported her whereabouts. “It was not like her to not report where she was going and to have her phone off. We started getting worried around the evening when we couldn't reach her, but on the second day, things became really worse,” the family member explained.

This incident is the latest in a series of troubling events for Zimdollar's family. Last year, Zimdollar's brother's 14 taxis were torched in Empangeni by unknown assailants who overpowered a security guard.

In the same year, Zimdollar expressed fear for her life after accusing the KwaZulu Natal police of being trigger-happy on live radio, following the death of an alleged criminal in a police shootout.

Her comments led to her hiring bodyguards for protection, but former Police Minister Bheki Cele criticised her remarks and blamed her for the officer's death.
