Local South African artist Makhadzi has expressed disappointment at the fact that tickets for her upcoming event at Peter Bokaba Stadium have not been sold out yet but Chris Brown’s showed were now sold out.
International superstar Chris Brown sold out in just two hours, and because of this, another date has been added to his concert.
The star told the media that local South African artists needed the support from the local people, just as much as international artists, the priority should be local.
She said: “It's really discouraging to see international artists selling out fast while we don't get the same support. It kills our industry. I hope this will one day change.”
In a tweet last night, Makhadzi appealed to fans to go out in numbers to purchase tickets for her upcoming show.

Makhadzi will have a one woman show at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on 21 December. She had the same event last year. Last week, she released a new album titled ‘Miracle Child'.
