Threesome: Two Men Staying With One Wife
In Harare, a rather unusual living situation has developed where two men are sharing a wife, Brenda Cheri, and all three are living in the same bedroom, separated only by a curtain.
Takemore Kagaire claims that his wife, Cheri, got married to another man while they were still mourning the loss of their child. He says she has now brought this new partner into their home.
Mutare Woman Juggles Two Husbands
At a hearing in the Harare Civil Court, Kagaire argued that Cheri committed bigamy by marrying another man during their mourning period. He described the awkward living conditions, mentioning that he has been denied marital rights as Cheri chooses to be intimate with her new partner right in front of him.
Kagaire explained that Cheri has been living with her new husband for two years, and whenever he wanted to visit, she would insult him.

He was shocked when she invited her lover into their home and reported that she threatened him when he confronted her about it.
He also claimed that Cheri has cut off his communication with her family, told them not to talk to him, and insulted him in front of their children, who are confused by the situation. Kagaire further stated that Cheri sometimes locks him out of their home at night while she goes out with her new partner.
In response, Cheri denied Kagaire’s accusations and blamed him for their child’s death, saying his behaviour made her seek a protection order against him. She said she left after the funeral because she feared for her safety.
The presiding magistrate, Mandlenkosi Ndlovu, granted a protection order in favour of Cheri and encouraged the couple to resolve their disputes.
