Son Disappears With $614: Kidnappers Demand $2k Ransom
Glen View, Harare – A 20-year-old man from Glen View, Dean Njikizana, was reportedly kidnapped on Friday and held for ransom.
The kidnappers are demanding US$2,000 from his family for his safe return.
The authenticity of the kidnapping has come under scrutiny, as many express skepticism about the situation, suggesting that Dean may have staged his own abduction to extract money from his family.
Dean Njikizana was abducted on Friday after he collected $614 from his father, Douglas Njikizana, a 48-year-old carpenter from Southerton.
