Hubby Defaecates in the Bedroom to Spite Wife

A Harare man confessed he has been using his matrimonial bedroom as a toilet as a form of protest against his wife, who he claims has been denying him his conjugal rights.

Maclaren Nduri told the court that ever since his wife, Berita Mutero, began working in Mbare, she has denied him his conjugal rights. He suspects she may have found someone else at her workplace.

My wife has been denying me sex ever since she started working in Mbare, I think she now has a boyfriend,” Nduri said.

Unable to accept the situation, Nduri admitted he began urinating and defaecating in their bedroom. His frustration runs deep, as he shared with the court that Mutero even had him arrested previously, resulting in a 30-day jail sentence for domestic violence.

This has been going on for some time and I can’t forgive her for making me go through this. She once reported me to the police and I served a 30-day imprisonment for domestic violence,” Nduri added.

Mutero, however, revealed even more about her husband’s troubling behaviour. She explained that apart from defaecating and urinating in their room her husband also assaults her and burns her clothes in retaliation for her rejection.

He is in the habit of assaulting me and burning my clothes because I have been turning down his sexual requests,” she said.

Her husband’s actions, she added, have completely extinguished any desire she once had for him.

I am tired of my husband’s behaviour and I feel he needs serious help because I will never enjoy any sexual intercourse under such an environment. Sometimes he uses the bucket to relieve himself and leaves it in the bedroom for days,” Mutero explained.

Magistrate Judith Taruvinga, hearing the couple’s grievances, urged them to seek professional marital counselling to address their issues.
