“I usually go there on Thursday for their Thirsty Thursday event. They asked me to come host and I asked my friends to accompany me,” she said.
She said while they were having a good time, two of her friends got into a fight with a group of ladies in the toilet.
“I don’t know what caused the fight, but they were thrown out because of it. I tried to stop the fight, but found myself in the middle of it.

“Just like that, the group of ladies left my friends and attacked me. They said they wanted to make me ugly. I just saw a bottle on my head followed by blood flowing,” she said.
Kelebogile said she was saved by a guy who took her to the car. “The women were celebrating, dancing in victory,” she said.
She said her heart is broken and she now fears for her life. “I’m traumatised and always scared that they might come back to attack me,” she said.
She said this wasn’t the first time she got attacked at a tavern. “This happened last year. A woman beat me with a beer bottle on my head, but I don’t know why,” she said.
Kelebogile added that she needs her face and body for her work. “I work as a promoter and host. I need to always look good and now I have scars all over my face,” she said.
North West police spokeswoman, Colonel Adele Myburgh said a case of assault was opened at the Hebron Police Station, but no arrests have been made.
