Charity Charamba Appointed Zim’s Ambassador to Zambia.
The former police spokesperson Mrs Charity Angeline Charamba is the country’s new ambassador to our neighbouring country Zambia.
She was amongst the five new ambassadors appointed by President Emmerson Mnangagwa replacing the recalled or retired.
Charamba was part of the group that went for training at management training bureau in Msasa Harare. She had been moved from the police press department where she was head and redeployed to the police staff college.
According to a report in the Herald she retired from the police in 2018.
The list of the new diplomats consists of the former Prosecutor-General Johannes Tomana, who has been deployed to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Meanwhile, former Zimbabwe’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN) Ambassador Taonga Mushayavanhu has been re-deployed to Ethiopia.
Zimbabwe’s former to the United States Ammon Mutembwa has been deployed as the country’s ambassador to Belgium.
