ZUPCO Fares Rise By 100%

The government has increased ZUPCO fares from 50 cents to $1 with effect from 1 October 2019.

The Ministry of Information, Publicity & Broadcasting posted the announcement today on its Twitter handle.

This is a sign that things are not getting any better and with the continuous increase in fuel prices transport costs can be seen to rise as up to 5 times the normal price. You can see the latest grocery prices here.
