In the video which has been circulating on social media, a group of young children can be seen holding bottles of Belgravia alcohol while enjoying their Chicken Inn food.
The video showing children publicly drinking alcohol in the CBD has left many people shocked.
Taking to social media, netizens expressed concern and outrage at those who sold alcohol to the young children.
Additionally, social media users are pointing fingers at the children’s parents and guardians, holding them accountable for this behaviour.
Social media users called on the Zimbabwe Republic Police to arrest the parents or the guardians and also those who sold the alcohol to the underage children.
Coincidentally, this incident comes just a week after Zimbabwe was ranked number 1 on the Global Alcohol Consumption ranking survey.
