Undergraduate application overview
The University of Zimbabwe invites applications for the degree programs on offer from prospective students.
The advertisement is flighted in the national press and on the University website.
The University of Zimbabwe programs have varied selection criteria depending on the nature of the program.
To apply an applicant must meet the minimum entry requirements; however, acceptance depends on competition from the other applicants.
Degree and Entrance Requirements
For admission to programs of study at the UZ for any first degree, a student must have attained qualifications in the ZIMSEC / CAMBRIDGE examinations or equivalent as specified under special requirements.
All applicants MUST have passed at least five subjects, including English language at ‘O’ level and at least two ‘A’ Level passes.
(N.B: at ‘O’ level only grades A, B and C are accepted)

Application forms are available upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $20 for Zimbabweans and US$70 for International Students at any CBZ branch nationwide. The Account details are as follows;

Successful applicants will be notified by through uz website, Facebook, through the press, SMS and the addresses provided.
Successful applicants will be expected to register as soon as possible.
NB: NO PART OF THE UZ ADMISSION SELECTION PROCESS REQUIRES APPLICANTS TO PAY ANYONE EXCEPT THE APPLICATION FEE INDICATED ABOVE.
