Fuel Prices Rise Again

The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) increased fuel prices yesterday, reversing last week's slight decline which had brought little hope for motorists in the country.

The price of petrol and diesel is now ZWL$9.95 and ZWL$10.42 per litre respectively, with the former going up by nine cents from last week where it was ZWL$9.86, and the latter making a jump of 17 cents.

 What was the need to reduce the fuel prices, when in a short space of five days it has increased again?
