Ropafadzo Foundation Trust Donates Reusable Pads To Girls In Mbare
Ropafadzo Foundation Trust founded by the former public prosecutor at Rotten Row Magistrate Court, Panshe Bwoni has donated reusable pads to girls at Shawasha flats in Mbare.
The foundation has donated 70 reusable pads made by Mazuva Reusable Cloth Pads costing ZWL $12.00 to each and every girl at block 12 at Shawasha flats in Mbare.
This is not the first time that Ropafadzo Foundation Trust is running a sanitary pad drive which started on 9 October, donating pads to the less privileged girls and also giving them The Menstrual Health Talk.
The foundation is calling upon everyone to lend a helping hand to support its sanitary pad drive, donating just one pack of pads to help young girls who are failing to purchase them as sanitary pads are now very expensive with the cheapest pack costing ZWL$15.00.
The Ropafadzo Foundation Trust is trying to make sure that these girls have proper hygienic protection when they start their menstruation cycle as some girls are even using cow dung and rags because they can't afford pads.
