Women dominated at the Annual Coaching and Mentoring Awards scoping most of the awards at the event which was hosted by the International Coaching and Mentoring Foundation( ICMF) held on the 15th of November.

The event was graced by the Acting Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education Mr. Dhehwa.

The event was directed by Chipo Mashingaidze who was the Director of the ceremony leading all the proceedings.

Women dominated in the nominees and award winners lists to the extent that these two lists had the largest number of women since the inception of the awards.

The Overall Coach of the year award saw Rachel Mazvita Sabonda competing with two gentlemen in the name of Liberty Mwariwangu and Request Machimbira. It was a very close call with the award going to Request Machimbira.

Mega Fast award winner Dr. Nothando Moyo was there to deservingly bag the executive coach of the year followed by Tariro Mukunga who was 2nd runner up in the same category.

The leadership coach of the year was awarded to Edzai Marange for her great efforts in mentoring and empowering other TV personalities whilst Tariro Makanga took home the mentor or the year award and the other runners up in this category were all women as well.

ICMF Annual Awards also gave credit to relationship coaches and this time around a down to earth but impactful media-shy Patricia Nyabadza fittingly took the award.

Racheal Mazvita Sabonda was back again on the nominee’s list for the career coach of the year and this time she was collecting the award as the winner.

Having been a runner up twice Uzzillah Munyengeterwa took the business coach of the year award.

It was evident that women were the dominant force at the event, Some of the participants interviewed expressed satisfaction on the rise of women and said they are going bigger in 2020 aiming for the ultimate award.
