ZRP Advises Citizens Not To Engage In Online Dating

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has come in for massive ridicule after they advised citizens not to engage in online dating. According to the police, online dating and social media communication will lead to rape.

This comes after a woman who was engaged in online dating was raped by her “lover” when they met for the same time.Social Media Affair, Woman Raped

However, Zimbabweans on social media were not impressed by the advice from the nation’s police force and ridiculed the police for being simplistic and lacking critical thinking.

Online dating is not a problem. people should desist from meeting in the dark for the first time. they should have met at a public place. Please don’t fight technology because you will always lose. This is the 21st century and for you to misinform the public is ill-advised.
