Scores of Zimbabweans are jumping the border in Beitbridge using a broken fence to enter South Africa after the recent festive holiday.
Many of these are seeking greener pastures in South Africa fleeing the tough economic situation at home.
After jumping the border fence, undocumented foreigners walk through the farms to the N1 and to Musina township to get transport to Gaute g and other parts of the country.
Authorities have since caught dozens of the border jumpers who illegally entered South Africa from Zimbabwe.
On Thursday, it was confirmed that 16 illegal immigrants had been detained after making their way to Musina, in Limpopo. A further 54 undocumented people were arrested down the road from there.
