Breaking News: Coronavirus Now In Botswana

Botswana has registered its first-ever suspected case of coronavirus. The suspected case was registered on the 30th of January 2020 (yesterday) at Sir Seretse Khama International Airport upon arrival using Ethiopian Airways from China.

Coronavirus has already been recorded In Kenya & Ethiopia making Botswana potentially the third country.

This is chilling news for Zimbabwe as a lot of people travel between the two countries. There are fears that the disease could spread to Zimbabwe.

Panic has gripped Zimbabwe following this suspected Coronavirus case in Botswana.

Already, Hwange is seen as a potential point where the virus could enter Zimbabwe. The health care system in Zimbabwe will likely struggle if the virus is to spread here even though China has pledged to assist Zimbabwe fight the virus.
