Just In : Energy Mutodi Fired
The Minister of Information,Publicity and Broadcasting Services Energy Mutodi has been fired with immediate effect by The President And Cabinet.
The cabinet released a press statement a few minutes ago notifying the public of the termination of employment for the Minister.
Nick Mangwana posted a tweet confirming the authenticity of the press release.

Termination of Employment: Dr Energy Mutodi. Deputy Minister of Information Publicity and Broadcasting Services. 20 May 2020
The Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr M.J.M. Sibanda, has announced the termination of employment by His His Excellency the President, Cde E.D. Mnangagwa, of Dr Energy Mutodi as Deputy Minister of Government in the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services.
The termination which is with immediate effect is in terms of Section 108 (la) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe (Amendment No. 20) of 2013.
Efforts to get a comment from Mutodi and his superiors in government are currently underway.
